Carrie McIntyre

Controller

An engineer-turned-accountant with a talent for simplifying complex financials.

Carrie McIntyre’s journey into accounting began with her role as treasurer for a nonprofit organization, sparking a passion that led her to her current position as Controller and CFO at All In One Accounting. Her unique background in mechanical engineering brings a fresh perspective to financial problem-solving.

Carrie’s distinctive strength lies in her ability to create systems and processes that demystify financial statements, making them accessible to board members of all backgrounds. Her detail-oriented and organized approach, coupled with her caring nature and strong work ethic, makes her an invaluable asset to both the AIOA team and their nonprofit clients.

When she’s not simplifying financial complexities, Carrie enjoys challenging her mind with puzzles, both word and jigsaw. She’s also a pub trivia enthusiast, demonstrating her love for knowledge across various fields. Above all, Carrie cherishes time spent with her husband and three children, balancing her professional dedication with family life.

Here’s an intriguing fact: Despite her expertise in finance, Carrie’s degree is in mechanical engineering, not accounting.
