A mission-driven financial storyteller who weaves empathy into nonprofit narratives.
Rose Swenson’s accounting journey began with a high school distance learning course, where her aptitude for the subject led her to tutor fellow students. Now, as a Controller at All In One Accounting, she brings her expertise to the nonprofit sector, helping organizations transform their financial practices from boxes of receipts to sophisticated accounting systems.
Rose’s distinctive strength lies in her deep empathy for clients and her investment in their missions. She excels at translating complex financial data into understandable narratives, particularly in the areas of grant and contribution revenue recognition. Her ability to listen, coupled with her detailed and curious nature, makes her an invaluable asset to both the AIOA team and their nonprofit clients.
When she’s not deciphering financial puzzles, Rose cherishes family time, exploring science museums, and engaging in volunteer activities. She also enjoys cooking, needlework, biking, and reading.
Here’s an intriguing fact: Rose had traveled most of the US and Europe before turning 22, demonstrating her early passion for exploration. And a word of caution: don’t use the phrase “that’s the way we’ve always done it” around Rose – she’s all about innovation and positive change!
