NewsSeptember 18, 2022LaPlante Named TeamWomen WaveMaker

September 18, 2022, St. Paul, Minn.— The strengths and dynamics of your team directly affect business outcomes, according to Gallup.  All In One Accounting (AIOA) understands placing individuals in the right seat, leads to the success of that individual and of the team. One such individual is Jennifer LaPlante, Vice President of Operations, who has been recognized by the Minnesota nonprofit, TeamWoman, with a 2022 TeamWomen WaveMaker Award in the Uncharted Territory category. The Wavemaker Award has five categories of honorees and celebrates women who demonstrate outstanding achievement, an entrepreneurial spirit, and innovation through leadership within their profession.

“I am truly humbled to be included as an honoree for the WaveMaker Awards,” said Jennifer. “I cannot say enough about how grateful I am for those that have mentored me throughout my career, and I hope that I am able to do that for others as well. I love working alongside my clients and team, sharing experiences, and continuing to grow together.”

Jennifer has been with All In One Accounting for over eight years and enjoys the accounting field for the diverse variety found in working with different industries, business types, people, and the various business challenges AIOA’s clients face. “Challenges are made easier by having a team to bounce ideas off and support you through it all,” Jennifer adds, feeling a bit out of her comfort zone for being honored for what she loves doing—working hard and helping others.

“We are extremely proud of Jennifer for being selected as a WaveMaker nominee,” said Becky Lewis, COO of All In One Accounting. “Jennifer exemplifies our core values and represents the care and dedication our entire team strives to deliver every day providing financial clarity to our small business and nonprofit mission partners.”

All honorees will be recognized at TeamWomen’s 7th Annual WaveMaker awards ceremony, October 6, 2022, at the Metropolitan Ballroom & Club; emceed by KARE 11 news anchor Alicia Lewis. To attend the event, visit the organization’s website to learn more. Honorees will also be listed in the October print and online issue of Twin Cities Business Magazine coverage of the WaveMaker Awards. Congratulations to all the honorees!

The TeamWomen WaveMaker Award was established in 2015. The honorees serve to help the Minnesota business community, while helping women achieve their own goals. The WaveMaker nominees include both TeamWomen members and non-members, who are up and comers with high potential in the Twin Cities community.

From Katy Burke, Executive Director of TeamWomen, “We are excited to host the seventh annual WaveMaker Awards and are thankful to be able to provide an opportunity for young female professionals to be acknowledged for their dedication to their profession and community.”
